Trempealeau Elementary students, families, and staff participated in this year’s Read for the Record. This annual initiative raises awareness of the critical importance of early literacy, celebrates and supports early language, as well as social-emotional learning and development through a shared reading of a high-quality book.

Piper Chen Sings which is a story about a young girl who loves to express herself through singing but is struck with self-doubt and nervousness when asked to perform a solo in front of an audience. Piper shares this concern with her Nai Nai (grandmother) and receives words of encouragement that empower Piper.
