Students at Trempealeau Elementary recently traded their classrooms for the slopes as they spent an action-packed day at Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Trempealeau PTO, students had the opportunity to experience the thrill of tubing, skiing, and snowboarding in a fun and safe environment.
Excitement filled the air as students bundled up and took to the hills, many trying out winter sports for the first time. Laughter and cheers could be heard as they zipped down the tubing lanes, carved turns on their skis, and tested their balance on snowboards. The trip provided not only a day of outdoor recreation but also valuable lessons in perseverance, teamwork, and confidence.
We are incredibly grateful to our PTO for making this trip possible. Experiences like this allow our students to embrace the joys of winter while staying active and engaged.
The Bruce Mound trip has become a beloved tradition, offering students a chance to step away from their usual routines and enjoy a day of adventure. Trempealeau Elementary extends a heartfelt thank you to the PTO for their continued support in providing enriching experiences for students.
