Today, Trempealeau Elementary students took time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the Winter Solstice in thoughtful and meaningful ways. Throughout the day, students participated in calming and creative activities that emphasized care, connection, and mindfulness.
Students created bird feeders to support our feathered friends during the winter months, enjoyed warm cups of tea, and gathered together for peaceful, candlelit yoga. The experience was made even more special by lanterns the students designed and created themselves, adding a warm and welcoming glow to the celebration.
As we move beyond the longest night and shortest day of the year, we look forward to the return of more daylight, hope, and brightness ahead. These moments of creativity, calm, and community made for a memorable experience and a beautiful way to spend our final days of 2025 together.
We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the joy and light they bring to our school community.
