
⚡ Electricity Safety Comes to Life at Trempealeau Elementary! 3rd graders had an electrifying experience thanks to a special presentation from Riverland Energy! 💡🔌 Students learned all about how to stay safe around electricity—from what to do if you see a downed power line to the safe way to use electrical items at home and school. Thank you Riverland Energy!




Mrs. Hersh's classes took a walk to the Station and enjoyed a sweet surprise along the way! A big thank you to the Trempealeau Elementary PTO for providing the delicious ice cream treat—it was the perfect day for this outing!

Mr. Volden took Trempealeau Elementary kindergarteners out to the field today to work on their hitting skills—future sluggers in the making!





Students in Mr. Lovell's 2nd Grade class spent some time outside practicing their math facts.











2nd graders are gearing up for the state bike trail! Ben Mahaffey, Dad of Trempealeau 2nd Grader, has graciously donated his time to host a "bike camp" during lunch recesses. Great River State Trail we will ride you soon!






Trempealeau Elementary celebrated the final day with the Future Educators from Winona State University. This partnership has been a valuable experience for both our students and staff.











Trempealeau Elementary recently marked its 35th Annual Environmental Day with a powerful combination of community service and celebration. In the afternoon, students participated in a school-wide spring cleaning effort to give back to their community and environment.
Our youngest learners, 4K and kindergarten students, helped beautify the school grounds. Second graders took care of the nearby bike trail, while third and fourth graders lent a hand at Perrot Park. Fifth graders took their efforts to the Trempealeau Lakes, helping clean up the area and making a big impact.
The day ended on a high note with an energetic and inspiring concert by beloved children’s performer Tom Pease!
A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and the Trempealeau Elementary PTO for supporting and making this meaningful day possible. Your efforts help instill a lifelong appreciation for nature and community in our students.











Trempealeau Elementary celebrated its 35th Annual Environmental Day! In the morning, students rotated through a variety of small group presentations and hands-on activities focused on the environment and conservation. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who shared their time, knowledge, and passion to help make this day a success. We appreciate your continued support in creating meaningful learning experiences for our students.










Mrs. Shimek’s 3rd graders helped Ms. Hafner’s Kindergarten buddies review what plants need to grow and the parts of a flower.







Today, members of the G-E-T High School HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club visited Trempealeau Elementary! They did an amazing job teaching our 1st grade students about the importance of brushing their teeth and proper handwashing. Thank you to these future health professionals for helping our young learners build healthy habits!

Mrs. Shimek’s third graders enjoyed a class reward with “Flashlight Fort Reading”!! They were cozy in PJ’s and read with "stuffies" while they celebrated a long stretch of good behavior and the end of state testing!







Mrs. Bagniewski’s 2nd graders took full advantage of the outdoors! From playing games and exploring nature to curling up with a good book, these students made the most of a beautiful day.









Trempealeau Elementary 3rd–5th grade students shined on stage during their performance of A Kid’s Life, bringing music, laughter, and creativity to life. Before the show, families enjoyed a walk through of the student art show, showcasing the incredible talent and imagination of Trempealeau Elementary's young artists. Trempealeau Elementary 3rd and 5th graders are partnering with future educators from WSU to enhance their math skills and build a strong foundation in learning. This partnership will not only strengthen math understanding but also foster meaningful connections between our young learners and college students preparing for their teaching careers.

Trempealeau Elementary Students held a food drive to help the G-E-T Community Food Pantry.

Kindergarten students at Trempealeau Elementary had a blast exploring the Children’s Museum! From hands-on exhibits to imaginative play, their curiosity and creativity were on full display.











Mrs. Shimek’s 3rd graders are enjoying their Book Clubs! They are noticing character traits & actions, and have started to compare characters from 2 different books that they’ve read together.
