
Trempealeau Elementary 2nd-grade students had an amazing time visiting the Trempealeau Fire Department! They learned all about fire safety, got a close-up look at the fire trucks, and even had the chance to meet the brave firefighters who serve our community.
A huge thank you to the Trempealeau Fire Department and Firefighters for providing such a fun experience!

Mrs. Shimek’s 3rd graders worked on balanced forces in Science by making a paper bridge and testing its strength by piling on the pennies.

Last Friday, Trempealeau 2nd graders took a walking field trip to local businesses in the Trempealeau community. This hands-on learning experience taught students about the history of Trempealeau, goods and services provided to the community, and a tour of special places in their hometown. Thank you to the Historical Society, Bluff View Bank, Fat Cat Bait Shop, and the Trempealeau Hotel for welcoming our 2nd graders into your businesses and helping them grow.

Students in Mrs. Shimek’s class are learning about Forces in Science. They’re thinking about pushes and pulls as they make a folded piece of cardboard ( a Hopper Popper ) jump into the air propelled by the force of a rubber band.

Kindergarten students at Trempealeau Elementary were able to pick pumpkins from our school garden.








Mrs. Thompson's 5th graders have been learning about the coordinate grid during Social Studies this week. Today, they were able to practice reading and plotting coordinates by playing a game of Battleship.

Trempealeau Elementary Staff and Students enjoyed the homecoming parade. We had a Finding Nemo theme and our motto was "Red Hawks just keep swimming".







5th graders from Mrs. Thompson class enjoyed potatoes from the school garden. This year students at Trempealeau Elementary harvested over 360 potatoes!
